Recliner September 2, 2008 This recliner is very comfortable. It is lightweight, and attractive on our patio. There are a couple of things that I was disappointed about: first, it is slightly tricky to use it. You have to be sitting in exactly the right spot to make it recline. And second, there does not seem to be any way to have your legs up without the top half also reclining. I like to sit up and read a magazine, with my feet up...but this chair doesn't let me do that. You are either sitting, or lying down...nothing else seems possible. But, those two positions are very comfortable.
Comfortable Chair? August 31, 2008 These chairs are EXTREMELY comfortable...IF...you want to lay back at all times. They have no cup holders so they're are not very handy, they are not very comfortable in the upright position because the legs are kind of crooked and they don't sit flush with the ground so they wobble back and forth. They are affordable but not quite the same as the ones from Dick's Sporting Goods.
I like it! August 31, 2008 I really like this chair. I bring it inside, I take it outside and I'm really using it. I work on my feet all day and it's very relaxing in the evening. I feel safe because the locks on either side of the arms work well at all levels. And it folds up for easy carrying.
Strathwood anti-gravity reclining chair August 30, 2008 Nice product. Chair didn't come with instructions however, and it wasn't as easy as it looks figuring out.
Chair great, packaging not so great August 22, 2008 I ordered this chair from Amazon because I had bought one previously from another source and really liked it. The first one I ordered came in a retaped, beaten up box and the chair looked as if it had been used for a season and then returned. It had dents, scratches, rust and broken stitches. I returned it and asked for a NEW chair exchange. The second one was poorly packaged and slightly damaged, but for the price I kept it. I needed another one about three weeks later, the price was a little cheaper, so I ordered another one. I waited and waited and finally got an email saying the it was undeliverable and returned to Amazon. I get packages from UPS all the time, so I don't have a clue why it was not delivered. The email told me to reorder if there was a mistake, and when I went to the website the price had increased. So I passed on it. I'll just wait until next year and try to buy one that I can see prior to purchase. The packaging on the first one purchased in person was very strong, so I think this is the best route.
