nice stand after a trip to the hardware store February 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The are good, but grossly over priced stands. The screws that mount the base to the stand were about half the length needed. I bought 1 inch screws (1/2 inch supplied with stands) which solved the problem. Don't waste a day like I did trying to make the screws work. Get the to a hardware store, take one of the base screws with you, and buy 7 in case you lose one. Make sure the threads are the same. This will solve the problem, and keep your blood pressure down, too.
Good product February 8, 2008 Product arrived as described and I am very happy with the purchase. The base is well weighted to provide stability. The speakers are modern in appearnace and place the speakers at ear height (when seated) to deliver excellent Onkyo sound. Very easy to set up-- took me about 20 minutes from opening the box to full set up. Delivered in two days as requested.
Very Pleasedwith stands January 27, 2008 I liked the stands alot. They looknice plus they are the same brand as my surround system. I looked at other stands and they didn't look as nice as the Onkyo. They are very sturdy and they don't take up alot of room.
Great quality, good looks and heavy weight January 13, 2008 Great product, heavy weighted and a small adjustable height, and goes with any room decor and with free ship not a bad deal.
Wires run up through the steel poles to the speakers and the bottoms are very heavy and well made along with the rest of it making them ideal and not easy to knock over.

The product overall is beautiful and quality. The screws that it comes with are junk though. I read other reviews before i bought it and not to my suprise they were absolutely right!! i actually stripped one because someone tipped over the stand and the bottom platform came off. Do yourself a favor and purchase your own 4mm X 30mm screws and throw away the ones that they come with... you'll need "3" per stand.
