 Wonderful Umbrella... October 7, 2008
I honestly don't "get" some of the reviews here? Where in the world can you get a cantilever/offset umbrella like this for under $100? The fabric is high/durable quality, as are the materials/design. I have seen umbrellas for 3-5x's this price that do not compare. Of course it needs a weight at the bottom, silly people! I bought the plastic weight with wheels...holds the umbrella just wonderfully. I love the umbrella...super value. Don't buy into the negativity...it's nonsense.

I was very disappointed!! The umbrella is very poorly made. The rivets pulled out on the first one causing the poles to fall apart! Amazon set me a replacement. I had it two days and the plastic holding the umbrella to the poles broke leaving the umbrella part dangling by a litte cable. I am retuning it and getting my money back!!
Great umrella for the price July 28, 2008
This product is great. Adds beauty, shade and it is affordable. We recently had a house warming party and I had multiple friends inquire about the umbrella. I searched the web for similar products and I am happy I went with this one. If you take the time to read the reviews of the other products out there they all say pretty much the same thing--with similar complaints. Two things...anchor it to your deck or it will blow over (as would any other umbrella!), close it up when you are not using it (all my neighbors close theirs at night and when they are not using them and claim it extends the life of your umbrella).

This umbrella is impressive. Nice powder coating on the metal parts, and I got the umbrella shade in khaki - It's sophisticated and blends well into the garden. I get lots of compliments on it. You will need sandbags or something to anchor the base.
