This quilted hammock features a two layered canvas bed with a poly-fiber fill insert. This mold and mildew resistant filling creates a soft bed to lay in and makes for a more comfortable and cushioned hammock. A big advantage of quilted hammocks is that they accentuate your backyard with tasteful patterns and colors. Like all fabric hammocks, this quilted hammock is 13 feet long and 55 inches wide. It features solid oak spreader bars that have been varnished three times to a durable and shiny finish. The brass grommets create a distinguished look and the zinc plated hardware is rated to hold up to 450 lbs. Stand and pillows are sold separately. This hammock is made with the well known Sunbrella fabric, which is great for hammocks because it features an enhance water repellency qualities. Sunbrella will not mildew if kept clean and cleaning is as simple as washing briskly with mild soapy water and rinsing with a garden hose. This fabric is also highly breathable so it will dry quick with air exposure. Sunbrella also provides UV protection from the harmful effects of the sun.

I got this because we bought a new house and had a nice pair of trees to hang a hammock between. It appeared as a gold box special one day and seemed a little expensive and had no reviews, but I took a chance and bought it anyhow.
I am surprised and pleased with how this hammock looks and how it feels. The product photo made me worry it'd be garish, but the colors are quite pleasing. The ropes are about the same shade of green as most plants and the fabric is an attractive striped pattern.
The hammock itself is very comfortable and stable. I weigh around 230 lbs. and have no trouble getting in and out of it. It's so comfortable and relaxing that I often doze off.
Note that this does not come with a stand -- you have to use two trees or sturdy poles or something to hang it between. It comes with two very hefty eye bolts and heavy (but short) chains to secure the hammock at each end to the eye bolts. It's very easy to take down for the winter or even just for the day.
I'm extremely pleased with it so far. It's been a little over a month since I started to use it and it's rock solid and weathering just fine. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a high quality hammock. Now I want a pillow to make it perfect, and today there's a matching Hatteras pillow in the gold box specials -- woot!
