Developing exceptional designs is a key part to producing quality products. Oxford Garden is known for creating a classic timeless style of outdoor furniture. While the newer designs stay true to Oxford Garden's traditional style, there is a contemporary feel to the new collections Dimensions (L x W x H): 19 x 19 x 14Black powder coated steel with a threaded base will hold your market umbrella securely.Stand will accommodate umbrella poles up to 1-1/2" diameter.
Amazon.com Review Keep your market umbrella secure and steady without taking up your guests' valuable leg room. Oxford Garden Design's decorative 39-1/2-pound umbrella base, made of black powder-coated steel, will resist rust for years to come. The round, heavy stand definitely does its job while being threaded upright with two pole fasteners. You can insert umbrella poles up to 1-3/4 inches in diameter. The stand itself is 18 inches in diameter and 13 inches high, which includes the part of the stand that holds the pole and keeps it in place. The edge of this stand has a slightly raised lip, but it's not enough to collect rain or dirt; the inside features an intricate, classic leaf motif that will complement any patio style or garden decor. Replacement parts are available. --Rhonda Langdon

OK for the price, but not great. July 19, 2007 I bought this stand along with a 9ft market umbrella. Although packaging is flimsy as indicated in the previous reviews, the stand was entirely undamaged. It seems reasonably well built, but mine leans about 15 degrees to one side. Definitely a quality control problem. I'm trying to decide if this bothers me enough to return it. I live in Colorado Springs, and we get lots of wind....this base stands no chance with a 9ft umbrella. A 6ft umbrella might be a better fit. I probably would not buy this product again.
Umbrella Stand June 25, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very heavy duty and sturdy. I love the look of it. It is heavy. So you don't have to worry about the umbrella falling over.
a ridiculous purchasing experience June 11, 2007 The saga of the umbrella stand is still not over.. I ordered 3 - all arrived in a broken up box with pieces of styrofoam everywhere. One had a part missing. The new shipment sent to replace this arrived damaged. The next shipment was never received. The 3rd shipment came and although the box had been torn up, the umbrella stand and pole holder was inside the box unbroken. The box is too weak for the heavy stand and the inside styrofoam is not secured to the stand so it just breaks apart during shipping. It's a waste for everybody involved. I now have 2 stands that I am supposed to return but the boxes are so damaged i cannot use them. I will have to purchase 2 boxes as well as packaging material. This has been a true waste of time and money and i am not happy with this experience to say the least. I do not believe the consumer should have to be inconvenienced to return a product that is faulty and bear the expense of packaging and shipping material just to get their rightly deserved refund. It's just not right!
OK but not great May 6, 2007 Plastic knobs broke off after minimal use. Base holds water after a storm.
OK for the money but... September 28, 2006 ...they really need to work on packaging! It came in a flimsy cardboard box and the stand was almost sagging out of the bottom. And, like others I read about in previous reviews of this product, the screw heads (plastic) were broken on my stand. The stand itself is sturdy and attractively designed.
