Product Description The FlyWeb insect light is designed for use indoors in residential and commercial areas. Its compact size and direct plug-in features allow the light to be placed in any outlet. The FlyWeb insect light uses an insect attracting lamp to lure insects to the adhesive trapping board. When the glueboard is full of insects, simply remove, discard and replace with a new adhesive trapping board. The FlyWeb insect light will lure and capture the house fly, fruit fly, cluster fly, face fly, phorid flies, bottle flies, drain flies, mosquitoes, fungus gnats, moth flies, moths, asian beetles, yellow jackets and other flying insects. Since 1928, Gardner has pioneered the manufacture of insect light traps for commercial and industrial applications. This same highly effective insect control technology is now available for bars, restaurants and homeowners, too. If youre tired of swatting annoying flying insects, theres good news from the people at Gardner... FlyWeb Insect Management. Create an insect-free environment with FlyWeb Insect Management from Gardner. How FlyWeb Works for You For use indoors in residential and light commercial areas. The FlyWeb light trap attracts flying insects by using energy-efficient UV light. Flying insects are drawn to the UV light and trapped on the web-like adhesive glue card. Plug in the FlyWeb and trap annoying flying insects in the kitchen, living room, hallway, cafeteria and restaurant, bar, RV or motorcoach. FlyWeb Insect Management works 24/7 to create an insect-free environment. The FlyWeb light trap is compact (3.5" wide x 11" high) and uses a standard 110V plug-in compatible with any outlet. To activate the sticking power of your glue card, just peel away the protective plastic film and insert the card into the inside slot at the back of the FlyWeb light fixture. When the card becomes full, throw it away and install a fresh card.

excellent item July 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This thing works. No BS. I have a cat so not spraying a bunch of chemicals around was a big consideration. It works way better than I had expected, but I had figured what the hell I'll give it a shot. Within a few hours of being plugged in it had about ten little assorted buggers on the glue card.
Great for household use! July 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very handy. It catches dozens of pesky little gnats, fruit flies, etc., that I didn't even know I had. And house flies and small moths. When the sticky board is fairly well covered with "catches", you need to change the board for maximum effectiveness. It uses UV (ultraviolet) light to attract the flying insects. So, it's best not to place it in a brightly lit area. Also, the "UV" output of the bulb diminishes over time, even if the light bulb is still lit. So, replace the bulb at the beginning of the season. I have two, one in a dark hallway near an exterior door, and, one in my kitchen. The kitchen one does its job mostly at night, as the kitchen is pretty bright in the daytime. And, they both do double-duty as night lights. Thinking of getting another for my garage.
Work very well! June 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have been plagued with fruit flies and gnats this year here in Miami. I had tried all kinds of liquid bait traps, to no avail. This little light works like a charm and we are using three of them now. Not just for fruit flies, they also attract moths and other destructive or annoying insects. I'd highly recommend the unit.
Works just as well as fly strips May 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Well, it did all it was supposed to do, but I noticed my $2 fly strips by the windows were working just as well. But if you have a dark attic or crawl space that needs light to attract bugs, this will work for you. Also, buy the extra pack of sticky strips....we went through one a week. I really wish they would include them, as that would make the purchase worth the price.
It works pretty well... July 23, 2007 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I can't compare it to anything else, but this thing works pretty well I think. Flies aren't drawn to it like a magnet or anything, because I've witnessed flies go right by it. On the other hand, it does seem to eventually draw them in. Its not as satisfying as hearing them fry like some of the outdoor ones do. I'm not sure but the effectiveness seems to wear off after a while too. Maybe this is because there are so many fruit flies that the new flies smell the dead flies, I don't know. Hard to say. It just seems that now that there are a lot of flies on the thing it doesn't lure them anymore. I've noticed no new catches lately... but there are still fruit flies in my house. Can't seem to get rid of the buggers. The other thing I hate about this product is that it includes only a single sheet. There are no replacements included! This infuriated me. I almost gave it 3 stars for this reason. Come on guys, just a couple of refills! They take up zero amount of space in the package. Is that too much to ask?
