 Good filter, poor supply. September 15, 2008
If you can get your hands on this its a very good filter. However, no one seems to have it in stock right now. I just found out it has been discontinued. Thats too bad.

Item delivered quickly and for a good price. Item just as described and by ordering on line I saved a trip to Sears and having to try and explain to inept clerks what I was looking for.
Pur Replacement for undersink water filter September 29, 2007
I looked everywhere for this filter replacement for my undersink PUR water filter. It turns out PUR has discontinued this filter system, but continues to make the filters. Unfortunately, Amazon is the only place to find them. I bought two just to keep me going for the next year in case I have trouble finding them again. Thank you for Amazon for carrying these!!!

Boooo! Pur has discontinued this filter! I'm very disappointed. We do not like the clunky faucet filters. I don't understand why they'd quit making the undersink model. Our city has reverse osmosis, so all we need is the stage one filter to remove sediment and chlorine. Now we're going to have to cap off our undersink dispenser and probably have to go with the clunky faucet one. Not a consumer friendly move by PUR. (I hope the two I ordered are really in stock.)
