| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Roomba Discovery SE is the top of the line Roomba with some very down to earth features. Like Roomba Discovery, the SE features Dirt Detect, the self-charging Home Base(TM), an extra-large debris bin, the Roomba Remote, three cleaning modes plus a Charging Wall Mount for convenient storage. And, of course, the SE comes with the Advanced Power System that gives all Roombas the energy to get the job done. SE does it all, and looks great doing it. Retail Selling price of the unit is $300 and is sold out at most retail stores. This unit is factory sealed, with all the accesories for a fraction of the price. Roomba Discovery SE comes with: Rechargeable APS battery 3 hour charger Charging Wall Mount 2 Virtual Walls Roomba Remote Home Base Filters Roomba Discovery SE is the top-of-the-line in Robotic FloorVacs. Automatically returns to the Self-Charging Home Base when its battery is low. APS Charging System provides up to 120 minutes of cleaning power and charges the battery in under 3 hours. Great product - for a while. Died of the common (terminal) spinning disease after ~ 2 months work, thats about $150.00/mo. for a vacuum.
FOR ANYONE WITH ARTHRITIS! September 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little helper deserves a five-star rating but I only gave it a four because I need to clean it after every use! The cleaning enables it to perform at its peak! I have linoleum and indoor/outdoor carpeting throughout the house which helps it run more efficiently! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which makes vacuuming (especially underneath furniture) very painful and most times impossible! Running my little iRobot Roomba every day enables me to vacuum less often (especially with 3 dogs inside)! Also, it's a blessing to have when unexpected company will be coming! The remote control feature is great! Now all I have to do is teach it to wash dishes...and make the bed....LOL!
Roomba September 7, 2008 I owned all the new Roomba and the scooba since 2002. (they all stopped working between 6 month to 1 year, lol) That one is probably the best value, it does the job and when it breaks you do not get sick because it was not $400 bucks trashed for only 1 year... I wish irobot would do more solid vaccum cleaner but I'm sure they are learning from past experience and they will get better and better. (I am an irobot fan)
Who needs a wife? July 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was only kidding about the wife part. But this baby is great! Just let it go and Boom you're done with one of the most boring jobs in the world. Cleans very well. I also got the wife or I should say us the floor washer model. Again a great product!
I love my ROOMBA 4220 July 1, 2008 I love this vacuum. It is wonderful works great and so easy to use. Push a button and forget about it. I bought one for my daughter and one for my sister. Its cousin the scuba is great also. It cleans great and easy to clean the filter too. I named mine DEXTER.
