This is my first impression. I didn't expect the dehumidifier looks that good. The build is solid and beautiful. It's a very nice appliance with gloss finish. The Danby I saw at the store looks flimsy compared to it. The output vent is on the side, so I don't need to leave a large space between it and the wall. It even has a handle on the top and ofcourse handles on the sides. It's quiter than my Kenmore.

it works very good and powerful it clean the moisture and smell in the basement in matter of few hours. for my unit it run for about 7 days before it turn itself off (at 50%RH). I have this for 2 weeks now my basement have no basement smell at all. for the water bucket I have it connect with garden hose to my sub-pump and will pump the water out.

Hooked this up in my basement with a drain hose and set the controls and it keeps the basement at the programed humidity level. Very happy with this purchase so far , also was a lot cheaper than any of the stores in my area.

and make your living space liveable in the muggiest of weather. In a recent weather phenomenon that left us lying around gasping like carp, the idea of dehumidifying came to us. We researched the brands available, the prices and features, and picked the Frigidaire. The name itself was appealing---Frigid Air--- even with central air, windows and a west wind. Reviewers likened the water tank to
vegetables' storage from the bottom of a refrigerator, which they are, to a degree. The unit is not quiet by any means, but the health benefits became immediately apparent. Our 14-year old Beagle with
heart problems slept soundly and peacefully. Within hours, I felt relief from allergies, felt better than I had in so long. Emptying the unit is no great chore. Haven't spilled a drop, and may not hook up the hose. Oddly enough, it produces enough heat to warm the house in the morning, saving energy. I can't say enough about this great little product. I can't imagine units selling for 4 or 6 times the price
could do a better job. We are delighted with it! So grateful to Amazon for it.

We were without a humidifier in our basement for about 2 weeks. It was very humid and muggy - this Frigidaire had it smelling fresh and clean again in about 48 hours. It is pretty quiet and very efficient. I highly recommend.
