This is the coolest vacuum. I have had others that spewed stuff around requiring several swipes to get the mess, but this vacuum get sit the first time every time. I have not had it long, so I cannot speak on how it holds up over time. But sure loving it now. Easy to roll. Easy to empty. Gets the cat hair. So cool.

I was about to post another scathing review of this, as it stopped sucking up much of anything (actually started blowing stuff back out!) with less than a year of use. I had found and emptied the clog in the vertical tube leading into the canister, with no improvement.
Today, I discovered a major clog in the lower part of the vacuum, which consisted mostly of sawdust from various projects I've done. When I managed to get that cleaned out, it worked like new.
So, truly use it for regular, light cleaning, not for anything like a floor covered in sawdust. Or, if you do, check the lower part of the vacuum periodically for clogs. It wasn't that hard to clean out.

Bought this vacuum because I have mostly wood floors in my home with a few carpets. Thought it would do an ok job on the carpeting but it works much better than I expected. Easy to empty dust canister, no bags to buy or change. Goes easily from floor to carpet with a touch of a button. Picks up the cat hair that my big canister vac would miss. Battery indicator light lets me know how much power is left when the vacuum is on. Doesn't lose power as battery gets low. Also very easy to maneuver and because of its size and weight, I can use it on my carpted stairs. Love this vacuum, thought is was a little pricey, but worth the extra money.

This vaccum is so easy to use and very light. I use it daily. I think it works better than the big vac. Battery life is fine - lasts long enough to get the job done. Fast recharge time. With two teenage boys and a dog this is a great product.

I bought this vacuum after reading many reviews. I knew to expect a 15-20 minute battery life. I wanted something to clean our hard floors and to touch up the carpet. I LOVE IT!! It is so convenient. I have never owned a cordless vacuum, so I have nothing to compare it to, except a broom and dustpan. It is so much more convenient than a broom, or a little vacuum with a cord. I have a baby and 2 dogs... constant messes. I whip this thing out and have the mess cleaned up in 2 minutes. The vacuum gets dog hair, crumbs, and dust. My corded all-use vacuum is needing to be replaced. I used it then followed up with this vacuum on carpet in the bedroom. This vacuum picked up so much dog hair and dust that my big vacuum left behind. So this vacuum does have some power, I'm just assuming that for carpet, I will require a heavy-duty, corded vacuum to remove all the dog hair and dander. That being said, Hoover has made a WONDERFUL product for everyday cleaning!! Highly recommend!!
