Product Description Note on candle quality: Know what you're buying. Not all LED candles flicker (like those sold in closeout stores and dollar stores.) If having a realistic candle effect is important, make sure you buy "flickering" candles such as these. When you need to replace the CR2032 batteries, avoid spending $9 per battery in your local hardware or convenience store. We sell Lithium CR2032 replacement button batteries for $2.99 / five pack (that's less than 60 cents per battery.) Search on Amazon for B000RJODBQ

Perfect replacement November 6, 2008 I love the romance of candles, but as a firefighter's daughter, I get nervous around too many open flames. These are a perfect compromise...they fit into regular tea light holders, and through the glass, the very subtle, nicely random flickering of the "flame" looks close enough to the real deal to set the mood, with no worries about wax, smoke, or fire.
I used them for a dinner party, and it was nice to have the warm, candlelight glow without having to worry about guests' sleeves while reaching across our tiny dining room table.
They're not "high quality" merchandise -- inexpensive plastic -- but no one's looking that closely at a tea light, so no big deal there, especially for the price. And even though they don't look rugged, I accidentally bent one of the flames a bit, but was easily able to snap it back into place without damaging the unit. So, more durable than they look.

~If you like burning candles, but are afraid of accidentally burning the house down, buy these candles. ~If you hate throwing half burned down candles away, buy these candles. ~If you want to light a path to the bathroom when there's a power outage, buy these candles.
not restaurant quality September 15, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These are OK, but definitely not the same quality that I have seen in restaurants. The flickering and color isn't as realistic. And of the first three I tried, one failed (broken switch) and the other two work but are very different brightnesses.
They all had CR2032 batteries pre-inserted, so this adds to the value.
pretty good but incosistent color... April 28, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought 48 of these (4 packs of 12) and was a little surprised to find that the color of the "flame" differs greatly even in the same box of 12. Some are very light yellow almost white (which look the most realistic) while others were very orangy (looked faked) but they do flicker very gently like a real candle...definitly need frosted votives holders...I would have bought the fake candles that come with the holders if I had known - now I have to buy separate holders.
Great candles! Great Company March 3, 2008 I really love these candles it looks cool with alot of them lit at once.
I didn't receive my original order so i wrote them an email. They contacted me the nest morning and reshipped my order. I had it in hand the next day!
A++ Would recommend!!
