Mark Pierce and John Kallestad had been dirt sailing for several days knowing their wives would be showing up on Friday. The problem was they didn't know what day it was and their wristwatches only gave them the date, which didn't help. After several beers around the campfire the idea for the DayClock was born. A result was a clock, which gave them the only information they required--what day, it is. Our patented design divides the face of a clock into 7 equal pie shaped sections, one for each day of the week. The day hand moves continuously making a complete revolution every 168 hours or once a week. The lines dividing the days indicate midnight. The midpoint above each day indicates noon. Halfway between the midpoint and each line indicates 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.  wonderful clock for the elderly August 25, 2008
I bought the day clock for my elderly father who couldn't keep track of what day it was. He used to go by the daily paper but they changed the delivery system so he wouldn't get the paper until late afternoon.This has made a world of difference, he is much less frustrated about not knowing what day it is. It is easy to see ,looks nice hanging on a wall or sitting on a table. I would recommend this product for any elderly person who is starting to get confused.

It was a great idea for a retirement gift; but, it does not work which disappointed the recipient.

Very nice clock. Great for retirement. Helps us to easily keep up on the day of the week. Would be better if the days were in larger letters, in different colors, or maybe the clock was bigger so it could be read across the room. All in all, very useful.

Bought this for my husband, who has wanted one for some time. He actually works so much that he frequently isn't sure just what day of the week it is, and he has consulted the day clock almost daily since I gave it to him. Nice looking clock--very useful!
