THIS SCALE MET MY BASIC NEEDS EXCEEDINGLY WELL THANKS! November 29, 2008
This is a good scale that suits my needs and the needs of my really large brothers I call the "BEARS". I am not yet a diabetic so I do not need the scale to be breath takingly accurate. I just need to have a scale that gives me a close approximation of my current weight which this scale does well. the scale uses regular AA batteries avaialable anywhere. Most of these new fangled scales use these little stupid watch battery like things that run down quick and is hard to find when battery replacement is needed. I can find double AA batteries anywhere so I don't have to go all over the town to buy special odd ball coin shaped batteries for my bathroom scale.
I am sorry but when a scale is so high maintenance it needs its own special batteries to work it becomes a pain in my life that is best resolved by throwing it in the trash bin. I do not buy high maintenance technology because I have a rich full awesome life that does not need added mindless complications. There is room for only one high maintenance occupant in my home and that job is all mine. Scales with battery inspired Diva-tude are not welcome in my home. There is only one last true Diva where I live and its all about ME, ME, ME!
I just want to be weighed with relative accuracy and reliability. I do not care that the scale is sleek and modern. I do not care if the scale matches my decor. I do not care that the scale checks my body mass. I do not want a scale that keeps a running record of a few peoples weights and stats. Just give me a scale that works uses easy to find and replace AA batteries that do not cost an arm and a leg. Finally this scale has one other thing that makes it stand above all the pretty scales out there.
THIS SCALE ALLOWS A PERSON UP TO 400 POUNDS TO GET ACCURATELY WEIGHED! MOST OF THESE PRETTY SCALES WEIGH ONLY THE SUPPOSED BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WHO OBVIOUSLY NEVER WEIGH MORE THAN 280 TO 300 POUNDS! IT IS NICE TO SEE A SCALE COMPANY BUILD A PRODUCT ALMOST EVERY BODY CAN USE! THERE ARE SOME BIG GUYS AND SISTA'S OUT HERE WHO DO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR HEALTH TOO! ITS NICE TO HAVE A SCALE THAT WEIGHS FOLK UP TO 400 POUNDS! I HAVE LOTS OF VERY LARGE BROTHERS I CALL "THE BEARS!" MOST OF THESE GUYS ARE OVER 6 FEET TALL AND THEY EASILY WEIGH BETWEEN 313# AND 390#. IT IS NICE TO HAVE A SCALE THAT CAN WEIGH ALL MY BIG BEARISH BROTHERS EASILY AND WITH A REASONABLE DEGREE OF ACCURACY! THANKS FOR MAKING A REAL SCALE INSTEAD JUST MAKING JUST ANOTHER PRETTY GLASS TOY SCALE! THANKS FROM ME AND MY BIG BEAR BROTHERS FOR A SCALE THE REST OF US CAN USE!
