Our baby loves to be swaddled, but so many other recieving blankets are too small, even for a newborn, he could wiggle right out of them. These are nice and big. They are also very soft after washing. We use them by themselves when it's warm out or with another blanket around it if it's cool, or if the baby is particulary wiggly.
