Good product, good price September 16, 2008

The Silverstar bulbs, whether this type or the standard ones are a good upgrade for any vehicle. I have them in 3 vehicles now, and they have lasted years in my VW Jetta and are still as bright as the day I put them in. Some reviews state short life span, so here's the best tip I gave give anyone working with headlight bulbs.
The second you are working with your Silverstars, put on latex gloves and don't take them off until you have the job done. Oil from your skin will create hot spots on the bulbs and they will burn out quickly. If you don't touch them, this won't happen and they should last for quite a few years. At this price, I would recommend these bulbs to everyone that would like to see better at night.

These headlights are an improvement over the standard OEM lights but it definately doesn't produce the light they claim both in writing and on TV. True they do not have the old yellow hue to them, and with the brights on, I can read signs better from a distance without glare.
I feel that, because of the claims made by Sylvania, these headlights really only deserve a 3 star at most but because of the price I paid for them here, I gave them a 4. These are great headlights for the price offered (26 and some change... I actually paid 15 from another company selling them on Amazon) but to pay the full $40-50 dollars most stores ask for, these lights are NOT worth it.
Only time will tell if they last 30% longer as claimed. I would recommend them at this cheap price only. I won't buy them for my wifes car because they are not this cheap.

Sylvania 9004SU replacement lamps do the job well of extending your driving view and distance. Great buy for the money.

Easy to install and much brighter than the "standard" bulbs. I hope they last longer than some other reviews have stated. I was very cautious in my installation so as not to touch the bulb.
