Best bulb! October 28, 2008
I run these in my '88 Volkswagen Scirocco and they provide excellent, white light. I run H4 for the high/low beams and H3 for the high beams and driving lights. Even on low beams without the driving lights these light up the roadway and signs much better than standard halogen bulbs.
I also run these in my '02 Nissan Xterra and '01 Toyota Highlander, and while I have noticed the bulb life is shorter than traditional halogen bulbs, with daily commuter use (morning and evening) I have gotten up to a year out of the equivalent Silverstar bulbs for those vehicles.
Excellent bulb, excellent price from Amazon. Buy with confidence.

All I can say is that for the money these are "BRIGHT".They really light up the night roads.Very Happy.
Update: These bulbs lasted ONLY 6 months............would never buy again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This particular lights are the best when you don't want to put Xenon on your car. Its brigthness is really good. white color, no complaints.

I ordered these after I finally got around to replacing my 1997 Jeep Wrangler's headlights with Silverstars. These were for my foglights and between those and the headlights light brightness and reach were increased 50%. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my BMW's have xenons and those are better still. I was next to a Lexus with regular lights one morning and mine were definitely brighter. A friend with a 2003 Jeep Wrangler is planning to get some after seeing the difference.
