Not what I expected November 22, 2008 Wished that I invested in a butterfly type. This is not very prctical, it is hard to get to the spaces in the middle and doesn't hold much. I was expecting a little bit better product for the money.
Nice buy for the price!! November 20, 2008 I had to return one of the cheaper racks from the same company because it was too flimsy. While ordering this one, I was a little skeptical but when I received the product, I was quite impressed. Sleek design. No assembly needed. Got it in excellent condition and have been using it from day 1. Good product. Good Price. Highly recommended.
Kinda flimsy. November 3, 2008 I bought two of these for my boyfriend to use after he melted several of his fleece sweatshirts in the dryer at the laundromat. I dry a lot of my clothes on a rack because they seem to stay in better condition than when I use a dryer. I have had a sturdy metal drying rack for several years and I use it all the time. I bought these because they seemed similar and had good reviews. These racks are not sturdy at all. I'm only going to dry my delicates and light clothing on them because i don't think they can handle heavier shirts and jeans.
They are compact and I prefer metal because the wooden ones splinter, but I'm definitely going to have to handle these with care. These racks probably can't handle much more than their wooden counterparts.
Nice rack! November 2, 2008 A little pricey, but it should last a long time. Cheaper wooden racks warp and become moldy after a year or so of use. Spend a little more on a chrome rack like this one, and you'll save money in the long run.
solid and 'green' November 1, 2008 Much better than the $10 wood ones that are the same size. These can handle anything you put on them without getting wobbly.
We have two and rarely ever use the dryer any more. It's a big savings on electricity and the clothes are never wrinkled because you left them in the dryer. Clothes last a lot longer with out going through the dryer as well.
