 Still rattling, not a fit for a Mini Cooper December 10, 2008

Although this seemed like the perfect solution to my own "where do I put these glasses to stop them rattling around" problem, the double-holder just doesn't work.
The tension in the mounting system would not clasp onto my visor with any real grip as the material on the Mini's visors is hard plastic. If I went around a corner faster than a sedate drive (which doesn't happen that much in a Mini!) then the holder would slide along the visor.
On top of this, the clasps that grip the glasses just wouldn't reliably hold my glasses (both pairs are metal-framed and pretty standard shape and size) without them rattling around and slipping.
All in all, not impressed.

This product seems OK, but rather large and clunky. I don't see any reason to get it unless you need a double sunglasses holder. The holders also aren't spring-loaded, so a little tricky to open. Look at my other reviews for a holder I prefer.

First side broke in a matter of a week. Second side took a little longer, perhaps two weeks before breaking. In addition, the glue that held the foam in place also lasted only a couple of days. Really poor design.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM AFTER SEEN PERFECT RATINGs. but I have problems of using it. the clips are weak and too wide to clip onto my glasses without hitting the nose-supporters. after a week of using, it keeps falling off from the visor, very annoying.
