Product Description
The Clutch is a new product not yet available in stores. It works by securing a package (by its handles) to the headrest poles of the passenger seat. Stretch the bungee-like elastic down and wrap the Velcro strap around the package's handles. Leave it in place when not in use. It's easy!

I've had the Clutch for several months (got it when it was still called the "Take-Out Caddy" and it's terrific. The take-out packages now stay exactly where they should - right side up on the passenger seat. No more worries about catching it as the car turns... no spilt soup... Great idea; great product!

I invented this product and wanted to provide a bit more background. So this is not an unbiased review! I was always annoyed and distracted by the risk of my take-out food toppling over and spilling. When I would brake or corner I would find myself reaching over to stabilize it. So I decided to build a simple solution, and after much experimentation came up with the design for The Clutch. I sold a few of the early prototypes at two craft fairs, mainly to women who wanted to use it so their purses wouldn't slide off the seat and dump their contents. They all had stories about getting someplace and realizing their lipstick or cell phone or other essential was probably on the car floor under a seat. That's when I changed the name from "Take-Out Caddy" to "The Clutch."
The Clutch secures your take-out, purse, or other package on the seat by "harnessing" it to the headrest poles. Unlike a couple other devices I've seen, it doesn't hang your item above the seat, and The Clutch can stay in place when not in use - even when someone is sitting in the seat. I built it to be simple and low maintenance, not a hassle. I hope you will like it! Note that you get two, and the packaging stays intact after you remove one, so you could pass along the other if you wanted. If you buy one, please write some feedback because Amazon is a busy place these days and currently there is no advertising or prmotional support for the product.
