Great wipers, must buy December 2, 2008 I bought this type of wiper blade for all of the cars in my family. The Lincoln Towncar and Mercury Grand Marquis both have the Evolution and the Mustang has the Icons. These things are really worth the money, I will not buy anything else. They are extremely durable and clear the windshield much better than anything I have ever bought for my cars. Stop buying the cheapos and get these, its worth it. Also, Amazon sells these for about half of what you would pay at an auto parts store.
So far so good November 26, 2008 I've had these about 2 weeks on a Chevy Tahoe and they work great, the only problem is that the passenger-side blade lacks enough "spring" to follow the contour of the windshield, leaving the outermost 2 inches of the blade with virtually no contact with the glass. I'm hoping that as they age a little the rubber wiper will settle in and lower itslef closer to the glass, but who knows...
Wiper Review September 8, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
While I've only had rain twice since I bought them the wipers seem to do a very good job. Shipping is another thing. The cost was over $11.00 and the were shipped seperately. The two boxes they came in would not have fit in the trunk of my Pontiac Bonneville. The boxes and packing weighed much more than the wiper blades. I did not save any money due to shipping charges. I could have bought locally for the same cost or less.
Just plain cool August 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I haven't used these blades long enough to rate their performance -- they've been great for a month, though -- but I can say they are the best-looking, easiest-installing blades I have ever purchased. I don't know if the hinged cover over the wiper arm connection has any performance advantages, but it is more attractive and makes installation even easier than usual.
Will not work on my Mercury Gran Prix August 25, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I complained that product was defective and almost immediately received a replacement. The replacement worked the same as the original. No big deal! I put tire "black" on the old wiper blade and it works again. Either I have a concave surface on my windshield or this blade isn't made for my car. My complaint is not with Amazon (service was excellant), something is not right and I don't have an answer. Cheap blades ($3) work perfectly but the $16 blade doesn't. Leaves an untouched surface the size of an eight inch pie plate.
