Product Description
You know it's serious glue when boat builders rely on it every day to keep their boats afloat! Resorcinol glue can easily withstand continuous immersion in salt or fresh water along with severe weather conditions ranging from tropical to sub-zero temps. Also excellent for lumber arches, sills, beams, trusses and any other woodwork where the elements are a factor. Instrument makers even use it because it provides excellent adhesion to oily woods like rosewood. Not affected by mold, fungi, bacteria and insects.
* Two part glue includes Liquid Resin (16 oz.) and Powdered Catalyst (5 oz.).
* Coverage: One pint of mixture cover approximately 20-23 ft. of joint area.
* Working time at 70: Potlife 3-4 Hours. Open assembly time 15 minutes. Closed assembly time 50 minutes. Pressure period 8-10 Hours.
* Temperature of glue and surfaces must be at least 70 during assembly and cure.
