Eye type Cable Ends are a convenient way to terminate a cable. The larger sizes of these ends, particularly, require crimping pressures beyond the capabilities of ordinary hand tools. See sleeve pressing and compound crimping tools. Greater strength will be gained if the nylon coating is peeled back an inch or so before attaching cable end.
