I've been using the same bottle for over a year now and it still works! Most super glue bottles dry out immediately and become unusable. I'm guessing there is something about the bottle design that keeps the glue fluid. The blue grips on the side make it easy to squeeze out the glue.
The glue itself is great and works well for most anything including bonding wood.

Opens easily by twisting down the cap until it clicks. Every tube you buy will have the same tip size as the first. The 'shoulders' make it very easy to squeeze out just the right amount. And best of all, when you close it (with a locking collar, even!) it keeps the glue from turning into a rock solid lump. I have a tube of the non-gel version that's 3 years old and still good.
This gel has a thicker consistency than normal superglue that is much easier to control on vertical surfaces and with less tendency to run or spread out on smooth surfaces. It comes out of the tip more like toothpaste than water, so you never accidentally apply too much. I would especially recommend the gel version for kids.
