spokeshaves! Like a plane with handles, a spokeshave makes it easy to control the depth of cut for a perfect surface.
Two styles available:
Use the flat face model (Rockler# 34388) for work on outside curves, and round face style (Rockler# 35281) for inside curves.
Comes with 2-1/16" wide blade made from high carbon steel. Honing required before use. 10" long cast-iron tool body has 45 bed angle and 25 grind angle. With two adjustable screws for setting depth of cut. Replacement blade is universal and can be used with both the flat and round spokeshave. Sold separately, Rockler# 36840.
