Product Description
Years ago, Sargent made a small rabbeting block plane, No. 507. Its a great design, handy as a block plane and wider than most rabbet planes, making it easy to trim tenons to fit. All our Block Planes have the blade bevel up. We grind a 25 flat bevel on our Block Plane blades. This works well on end grain and general purpose work. Higher cutting angles will give excellent results in figured and difficult woods.
