I dont' know how I lived before this thing November 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I rarely need to screw a ton of things at once, but 90 seconds and it's fully recharged. It has a good amount of power, easy and comfortable to use. Everyone in my family is getting one for christmas. So if you're my relative, you just spoiled your surprise!
Better than some.. not as good as others June 5, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The Coleman Cordless Screwdriver is a whiz at some things. I use it for those jobs that require a few screws to be driven or removed. After about 8 2-inch screws driven into a 2 X 4, the power decreases considerably and you will need to recharge the unit. The good news is, it only takes a few seconds to recharge. In a minute or so, you're ready to go again. While it won't replace my cordless drill when I have a lot of screws to drive, it's lightweight, fast to use, and comes with 10 bits. Other 1/4-inch hex bits fit the screwdriver, too. The secret to the fast charge is the use of a super-capacitor instead of a battery. It has a 5.4-volt charger with a meter that tells you what the charge condition is. All-in-all, it does what it says it does. Great for the handyman, not really suitable for the construction professional.
