Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Place this heater fan in the center of the room to take advantage of the 360 degrees surround heating. You can also set the heater to front only to focus the heat in one area. The 360 degree surround heating design makes this a perfect unit to place in the middle of the room to help keep everyone comfortable. This heater features an adjustable thermostat and two heat settings for personal comfort control. The adjustable thermostat maintains the desired room temperature and the extra-long power cord lets you place the unit where you need it most. Safety features include a child-resistant power control, a tip-over switch that disables the unit in the event that it is tipped over, flame resistant plastic and overheat protection. This model also offers the option of 180 degree, or front-only, heating for placement along the wall. Additional safety features include a back-up thermal circuit breaker, motor thermal cut-off fuse and auto-off hi-limit switch. Tip-over switch

1 out of 5 stars After less than a month it died!   November 19, 2008
This product serverly dissappointed me! It shuts off while you can still see your breath and then within a month it completely died on me! I will never ever again buy this particular heater!

3 out of 5 stars Nice heater, but really, really loud.   November 17, 2008

I've had this unit for about a week, and it has a lot of good points, including it's small size, quality construction and low price. Consumer Reports recommended it, but they noted the noise issue too. I think the reason it's so loud is that it's using a very small fan to move a lot of heat. And despite having two heat settings (750 and 1500 watts), there's only one fan speed.

I'm using it to warm up the master bathroom prior to getting into the shower, so the noise isn't an issue, but you wouldn't want it in a bedroom. I also found it was too noisy for my home office. Overall, it's a very nice unit for the price, but only for the right setting.

4 out of 5 stars Efficient Space Heater!   November 1, 2008
I moved to NY State from Houston, TX and this is my first winter here, near Poughkeepsie. I couldn't do without my space heaters. I use the Honeywell mostly in the bedroom. It heats well and has an auto on/off function, so when the temp falls below whatever I set the knob for, it comes back on. The only downside is that the fan is a bit noisy, and there's no handle to grasp the heater with. You have to pick it up from near the bottom to move it. I'm satisfied with it. Good value for the money.

5 out of 5 stars Nice heater   October 30, 2008
This is a nice small heater and heat up my small bedroom very quickly.
If you have a small space, this is the very good product.

5 out of 5 stars Good heater, good price   October 29, 2008
Does a very good job of heating my feet in a cubicle that feels like an igloo otherwise!
