Best I could do May 18, 2008
You would think you could replace a generic handle on a generic vinyl sliding patio door for not much money, but NOOOO...so after trying futilely at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc., I hit Amazon and bought this. It was the cheapest I could find. When it got to me, turned out it was not by CRL, but some outfit called StraightLine, made in China, of soft metal, with thick paint in the screw holes, which made starting the screws dicey. But I lucked out, didn't strip out the holes too much, and the wife says its nice (the bottom line).
