OMG it does actually work January 5, 2009 I actually have stopped ppl at walmart and told them about this product and told them to come to amazon.com to purchase it. it is amazing. My German SHepard used to try and bit me when i brushed her. Now she still tries to leave the room but never once turned to bit me. you could actually see the difference in her body. She looked thinner after just 1 use. it is truly amazing. i dont know how it works, but all i know is try it u will love it too!
This stuff works January 2, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
yes, this product works and it works well, without harming your pet. My dog actually enjoys the brushing from the ferminator, I think its like a massage to dogs. Only downside is that it makes a mess in the house so if you can groom your pet outdoor.
Furminator comb January 1, 2009 My Furminator came with a plastic protector that is supposed to clip over the teeth to protect them. But in no way will that protector stay attahced to the comb. It so loose that it doesn't even attempt to attach itself to the tool. It was the first thing I noticed and the ideological ideas about quality start right there. Why they makers would send this useless attachment is beyond me. Perhaps some one from on high will explain it to me.
Good, but not thrilled. January 1, 2009 I got this to help reduce the amount of pet hair/fur I have in my house but I'm not sure that it's going to help much with my English Springer Spaniel. It did get a good amount but nothing like the pictures others have posted. Overall it's a good deshedding brush and maybe our dog just doesn't have much of an under coat. The cat's fur looks like it will be much more helpful but I will need my husband to help hold her in one spot long enough. :)
furminator December 31, 2008 I just got the Furminator yesterday and tried it on my Rottweilers--it is amazing. They both shed--not a lot but enough. I brush regularly and it doesnt seem to keep the amount of shedding down. I brushed them and then used the Furminator. I was amazed at how well it worked. I also find that the top coat is shinier after 2 uses. The dogs dont seem to mind it at all--but in reading the instructions--it is not recommended on delicate areas with minimal hair--which makes a lot of sense. Five star product as far as I am concerned. I am so happy that I got it.
